Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) Policy

BuyerHacks.com (“the Site”) respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. It is our policy to respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, we will promptly remove or disable access to the infringing material. We may also terminate the accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.

Counter-Notification

If you believe that material you posted on the Site was removed or access to it was disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with us by providing the following information:

  • Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled, and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or access to it was disabled.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.
  • Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which the address is located (or if you are outside of the United States, that you consent to jurisdiction of any judicial district in which the service provider may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided notification of the alleged infringement.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

Please note that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification may be subject to liability.

Changes to Our DMCA Policy

We reserve the right to amend this DMCA Policy at our discretion and at any time. When we make changes to this policy, we will post the updated policy on the Site and update the policy’s effective date.
